An RIBA award winning residential project of 28, one, two and three bed apartments on a beachside site replacing a single house and pavilion.
The crescent plan is based on a nautilus shell; the roof design embodies the power and movement of the sea; the floor to ceiling window frames the unbroken views to Lundy Island and beyond.
Each element has a considered logic – the crescent aided views and phased construction; the roof enables clear stories to draw in southern light; the main windows flood internal spaces with natural daylight and ventilation.
